• Hey all,
Got hit with about 1500 pokerspam comments this morning. I deleted approximately 800 and then was able to route them into moderation by aggressively filtering. But my question is this: When they weren’t in the mod queue, I could just filter by keyword, select all, delete. Now that they’re in moderation, I have to click Delete on each ONE? Surely not… can I alter my code or something to delete them all? Or run a SQL query to delete all comments in moderation? Not looking forward to deleting 700 comments in moderation by clicking.
Additionally, how do I turn off getting an e-mail when a comment is in moderation? I found the option to turn off getting one when it is approved, but not when it’s actually in moderation.
    Thanks!

Ohhh, ah ha! I can see moderated comments in the Bulk Edit anyways. Still though, then what is the point of having the Mod Queue as a separate page?
My question re: emailing remains, though ??

I am also running into this problem. I would LOVE to see some sort of toggle option when you are in comment moderation mode. It would be much easier to toggle all comments to “delete” and then just click one button to delete, rather than having to delete each comment, one by one.
Can this be included in a future release?

This is all ready in the current release. Just go to “Awaiting Moderation” to see the comments that have been held for moderation. There you can toggle them all to delete and click one button to delete them all.

even then, you can only do 20 at a time. I have over 700 comments that have been building up over the last week. (I just installed Spam Karma, I hope that helps.)

I have had about 75 pokerspams today – I know that I can manually set each radiobutton to delete, then hit the Moderate Comments button – – an improvement over the Delete Comment / Yes for each one.

Is it possible to do a global default Bulk action = delete for each moderated comment that has been caught on the page, instead of the current default = do nothing ?

That way, a quick scan and click to rescue the one or two legitimate comments, and a single click to zap the remaining 18 spams.

On moderation.php in line 159, 160 and 161 is the options for the radio buttons on the awaiting moderation page.. move “checked=”checked” from the ‘later’ to the ‘delete’ option.
