Bulk media replacer

  • Hi,

    I’ve got a bunch (+6000) of media files I want to replace because of the file size. All the files are .png and should be replaced with .gif versions. Is there some kind of plugin that can do this automatically for me?

    I know there are plugins like enable media replace but this is file by file replacing.

    I can delete all the files on the ftp and upload the new gif versions but then I still need to relink the images in WordPress.
