Bulk Import with ZIP files?

    Hi @tobiasbg

    I remember you mentioned that we can bulk import tables with all tables in a single ZIP file. But I am unable to find this option in the page.
    Also tried “Auto Import Table” Still can’t figure out how it works.
    Can you please provide a tutorial on how to multiple import tables with ZIP file?

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    There’s nothing special really about the ZIP import. Just put all your table files (of the same format, e.g. CSV) into a ZIP archive and choose that when importing.

    As for the “Auto Import”: For that, you’d first need the TablePress Extension from https://tablepress.org/extensions/table-auto-import/

    Hey Tobia,

    I just realized that I was unable to import ZIP because I didn’t set the ZIP attribute in PHP to True.

    Hi,

    ah, yes, my bad. Forgot to mention that ZIP support has to be enabled in PHP first, on some servers.
