I have 800+ items to import, so I was excited to see that you support bulk import through really Simple CSV. I generated my csv file, and imported. The plugin page says there are the correct number of entries, but less than 10% of the entries show. Its 50+ pages of no entries, with the occasional page showing 1 to 8 entries.

i downloaded your sample csv to make sure I had everything properly formatted.

I deleted the entries from my database using mysql, then I uploaded your sample csv, instead of my own.

This time, the plugin said there are 0 entries, despite all 6 sample entries being in my database.

    Server info:

Unix server running php 5.5.9 – MySQL Community Server (GPL), protocol version 10.

Event types did import. but the number of each event type is zero.

Dates in the post titles imported all as yyy-mm-dd, so I reversed them all, and nothing changed, Then I set their statuses from draft to publish, and one of them showed up (Still working with the demo CSV data at this point.) Event types still say no posts for any event type.

Found another curious bit of information. I manually entered one new event and found some differences.

A manually entered event populates bot the “post_title” field AND the “post_name” field with the same data. CSV import does title only.

A manually entered field puts the “post_status” field as “publish,” where the CSV does draft.

, and found a difference between it ant the imported information in the field “guid”:

    Manually entered
    https://www.sitename.com/?tdih_event=1912-10-04

    CSV import
    https://www.sitename.com/?tdih_event&p=3379

The CSV import uses the post ID number rather than the name/title like the manual input does.

I added fields for all of these items in my csv, and now I can see about 60% of the events, though it says they are all there.

I even have correct numbers of events in the event summary page.

The shortcode still displays nothing despite having events in date range.

Even though there is still the glitch of the dashboard not showing all the entries, after some playing around it appears they are all showing on the website end.
