Bulk Import – Beta ( Feauters )

    Hi,

    I am just curious as to the features for the Bulk Import which is still in Beta.

    Would it be possible to:

    (1) Import a zip file of say 50 files and “batch select” the category to import to, the the case when they all go to the same category.

    (2) Would it be possible to import via FTP.

    (3) WP Filebase has an awesome way, but unfortunately the plugin had only one update in nearly 2 years, and the author went AWOL…
    In essence, you can upload your files in folders and sbfoldrs via FTP, and symply sync it in the WP Dashboard, and it all displays exactly in that structure, see sample:

    To answer you question, for point one you should be able to select the subcategory when you are uploading a bulk zip file. If I am missing something please let me know.

    FTP as been requested as a feature request and I am looking into this feature.
