Bulk Import?

  • Hi all,

    Does anyone know if there is a way to import a large number of comics and assign each to a post?

    Also can they be named based on the filename? for instance 2005-01-12.jpg being named January 12, 2005?

    Hey mattverdini! The easiest way to do this would be to first upload your comic images into the WordPress Media Library (Media > Add New in the admin dashboard; you should be able to drag-and-drop images onto the page to upload them).

    Once they’ve all been uploaded, the Webcomic Generator (Media > Webcomic Generator) can generate a post for each image. There’s no option for specifying the title of the new posts, unfortunately; they always use the image file name (so 2005-01-12.jpg would get a post titled 2005-01-12).
