Hi I need bulk upload feature, via csv or xml or whatever’s possible.

I’ve checked out loads of options and the closest I’ve come is ultimate csv importer

The only thing with ultimate csv importer is I can’t get it to map the location data on my spread to the location_id so the event is assigned to the right location upon import.

Same with the event_start_date or event_end_date so they populate after import – those fields appear empty in the event screen itself, and the start and end time is populated by the upload time.

And in the admin ‘edit events’ archive the upload date populates the start/end date, and the upload time the start and end time.

Everything else seems to go in perfectly using my csv with ultimate csv import, from custom fields through to featured image, categories, tags and seo info, (i’m happy to share the csv if anyone wants it, as I’ve seen there’s been a lot of demand for this feature of bulk import).

(I also tried wp all import but the custom field data didn’t populate after mapping, and also https://github.com/soixantecircuits/wp-events-manager-importer”target=”_blank”>wp events manager importer)

Any light that could be shed on how to do this with Ultimate CSV would be great, or any other way at all!

    Kind regards
    K

PS for anyone else trying this, the example csv for events manager (listed on the page of example spread sheets hosted by the ultimate csv developer) to map correctly in Ultimate csv import I had to add a column with ID and add an ID number continuing on from the last used.

I also had to rename a few columns as follows for mapping on the example spread for events manager: event-categories, event-tags and post_name (slug).
