• Thank YOU! This plugin is what we exactly need. But there could be a small tiny enhancement, but it would be very handy.

Through WooCommerce product export/import functionality we can bulk update our products information, attributes, and meta data. I was able to update the dependencies meta _dependency_type, _dependency_selection_type, and _dependency_notice but the most important meta which is the product/category IDs that they should depend on, isn’t available.

I don’t know if it is available, I searched for it but I couldn’t find it. Adding such meta data to the product export would be very helpful especially for already established shops were multiple products will be updated to include dependencies.

UPDATE: I took a fast tour through the code, I think I found the meta data names. They are _tied_categories and _tied_products.

Thank you again for such an awesome plugin!

    Regards,
    Mahmoud

Thank you for your posting. I have the same need with this case. Is somebody can help. Please share with me.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I took a fast tour through the code, I think I found the meta data names. They are?_tied_categories?and?_tied_products.

Yes, that’s correct! I can confirm attachment of product/category data stores with _tied_categories and _tied_products meta keys.

@wilabudi were you able to use those meta keys? If you are getting any issue, I’ll suggest kindly create your own topic so we can look further into it and assist you properly.

You can create a new topic here:

Please include all you have done so we can start where you left off.

    Hello @daniyalahmedk ,

It seems there was a misunderstanding.

Both meta keys, _tied_categories and _tied_products, are missing from the exported products CSV, till now.

Only the meta keys below are exported:

    • _dependency_type
    • _dependency_selection_type
    • _dependency_notice
