Thank you for your reply.

To confirm, you disabled all the plugins except WooCommerce and switched the theme to Twenty Twenty-Four but the issue persisted. Is my understanding correct?

I tried to reproduce the error on my test site but could not do so.
Products were updated successfully from In Stock to Backorder.

Could you tell me whether the page reloads after you click the Update button?
Also, check for any JavaScript errors in the browser’s console tab.

Please share screenshots if you find any errors.
