I would like to bulk edit meetings in Excel/csv to add the “Temporary Closure” type. When I re-import them, which setting should be selected to only overwrite the meetings I edited?

    Options:

    • don’t delete anything
    • delete only the meetings, locations, and groups for the regions present in this CSV
    • delete all meetings, locations, groups, districts, and regions

I would be interested in hearing about this as well. Up until now I would select the ‘delete all’ option, since an import, even to edit, would come down to deleting the old and then adding meetings as if they were new.

It would be very very nice (but possibly too much work for the plugin people) if we could use the WSO ID / GSO ID as the keyfield by which groups and meetings are identified. There is currently no field for that as far as I know. But if there were, updating meeting and group information by that ID would make things a lot easier.
For now I believe I will have to delete entries without ‘temporary closure’ in the tickbox and re-import the lot. I think…

    Looking forward to feedback…

    Additional issue:
I seem to be unable to locate the import field for the ‘notes’ right underneath the category tick boxes. I have group notes, location notes, but this category notes field I cannot find and define. Would like to know…

We have plans to provide bulk add/remove of the Temporary Closure tag. While those won’t have a lot of people with adding tags this time around, it will have with quickly removing all of them when an area returns to normal.

I know that scope creep is the enemy of a good project, but it would be helpful to have options for bulk removal of “Online” type and possibly for vacating the meeting URL and dial-in fields.
