When creating a sale price for a product there is a schedule option. Why isn’t there a schedule option when bulk editing the sale price? I run a sale every Tuesday for a category of products but its very time consuming to edit each product individually just to set an end date for the sale.

  • Hi @miclovin,

That’s a great idea. While it’s not something that’s possible in the WooCommerce core, you can add it to the Ideas Board. The developers use this when deciding what features merchants want so they know what to create.

Another option would be to use an extension that has the ability to bulk edit sale dates. You might take a look at the Bulk Edit Products and Attributes extension. It has a 30-day refund window so if you decide you don’t like it, you can get a refund.

I really don’t think this is a new idea, it’s just an inconsistency in the existing plugin.

-Editing a product allows for a sale price change and schedule.
-Quick editing a product allows for a sale price change only.
-Bulk editing products allows for a sale price change and change by percentage.

    Hi @miclovin,

This option is not included with core WooCommerce and I understand that this may result a bit annoying for you, but it can be achieved using plugins that add this extra functionality.

If you want this function to be a core function please open up a new idea on our Ideas Board as earlier suggested, so that other users that want the same can vote for it. Based on how many votes the idea will receive, developers may include this function in future versions of core WooCommerce.

I’m going to close this thread now. You can open a new topic if you have more questions.

    Cheers.
