Bulk Edit Posts – Require Membership

    Adding this plugin to an existing website with 450+ posts.

    Three categories have posts that should be members-only.

    It is going to take a very long time to go through individually and check the “Require Membership” box for the membership level.

    Thought that I would highlight all of them and Bulk Edit – but there is no option to require membership in there.

    Found a prior bug that someone posted a few years back about the same issue, but it was for Pages.

    Is there a way to easily bulk update a large amount of posts to require a membership level?

    If the posts have categories, you can edit the membership levels to lock down whole categories.

    Perfect, and I did check those categories under the membership level. So that will effectively restrict any public access to anything in those categories?

    Yes. You’ll want to double check the excerpt settings on the advanced settings tab as well in case you want to hide excerpts or search results/etc.
