• Hi I have about 100 posts I need to add locations to.. is there a way to bulk edit them? I also already have the latitudes and longitudes on each post in 2 custom fields.. maybe I can edit the plugin to pull those instead? Please let me know! Thanks!

    Hi @tatummatlock,

    Sorry for not replying sooner.

It won’t be possible to edit the plugin to use the custom fields directly. At least not without extensive customization.

However, you should be able to import the posts with the coordinates into GEO my WP using GEO my WP’s importing tool.

Navigate to the dashboard of your site -> GEO my WP -> Import/Export -> Posts Locator tab. Then use the “Post Custom Fields” importer to import the lat/lng from the custom fields. Just click the “Set custom fields” link and select the custom fields of latitude and longitude.

Note that you should import as many fields as possible into GEO my WP. or at least the address field if you have it also saved in a custom field.

The plugin should work when posts have the coordinates only, but some features, such as displaying the address in the results and such won’t work.

    I hope this helps.

@ninjew Thank you so much! I must have overlooked this functionality. Took 2 seconds and now everything connects.
