  • Hello,

Can you please share a screenshot of the Menu Order so we can get a better understanding of what you are trying to edit?

I recommend?https://snipboard.io?for easily sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on the page, then paste the URL in this chat. It works with Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.

    Hi @tubedes

Thanks for sharing the screenshot – it clarifies the requirement.

You can use Post Types Order which enhances the product list admin page to allow manual drag and drop reordering of products, and this changes the menu_order values.

If 300 products are too much for the plugin to handle, you could look into exporting your product list, setting menu_order in your spreadsheet, and re-importing. In the product csv export file, the “menu-order” field is called “Position”.

If you want to sort by category, the Category Order and Taxonomy Terms Order plugin may help. But please note that sorting by category by any method becomes impossible if items are in more than one category at the same level.

    Thank you for your reply.
I Exported products file and now I found that I should change position tab.
I changed and I want to import it now.
But I’m afraid that it will replace successfully or not?
Is it enough to import it ?

    Hi @tubedes,

You’d want to make sure to have a full backup before importing and overwriting your products. More info at: Backing up WordPress content.

Change where you see position 0 to 300 – save the document as CSV – proceed with the import in WP dashboard > Products > Import. Be sure to check the “Update existing products” checkbox to save the new menu order value on existing products. Once done, the menu order will reflect the value of 300.

    Hope this helps.

Byt I wish there was a plugin to change the position on bulk edit.
Is there any plugin to do this?

    Hi @tubedes,

You can bulk update this by using the CSV import / export.
The value for menu position in your CSV is called: Position

    For reference: https://woocommerce.com/document/product-csv-importer-exporter/#update-existing-products

    Kind regards,
