Bulk edit category parent

  • I’m working on a site that has 420 categories…

    :-O

    that all need to have the same parent.

    How can I edit the parent category of all of these sites at once? I’ve looked for a plugin to do it, but couldn’t find one.

    That’s a lot of categories. Why that many? That high number might be better organized via custom taxonomies and tags.

    That said, i don’t know of a plugin. You might have to move them manually.
