I can bulk edit pages and posts to apply the WP Fusion content restriction, I can’t bulk edit to un-restrict them.

Any insights on this? Do I need to do something special with the Merge checkbox when setting or removing restriction?

    Hey @bluerobot ,

    Yes, that’s correct….

With our bulk-edit option we tried to mirror the existing functionality of WordPress core.

For example, if you click bulk-edit on some posts, you can select multiple category checkboxes and these categories will be assigned to the posts.

But if you leave the category selection blank, this doesn’t remove all the categories from the posts. Obviously that would be pretty inconvenient because every time you bulk-edited anything, all the categories would be lost.

So WP Fusion works the same way. You can bulk-add new settings to posts, but you can’t bulk-delete the settings from posts.

(If this comes up as a recurring problem we may one day add a separate bulk-delete tool for post access rules).

However, the box should save as long as something is in it. You could select a redirect from the dropdown, and then remove any required tags / un-check “Users must be logged in”, and that will effectively remove WPF protection from all posts, since all it’s bulk-editing is the redirect.
