@jodzeee Thanks for using Post Expirator.

We’re to help, but you will need to give us more info, please …

I selected several posts (it’s a custom post type, if that makes a difference), then choose edit. I changed the expiration date and saved it, but it stayed the same as it was.

I cleared my caches and tried again and that didn’t help.

    thanks @jodzeee

    – Did you fill in all the data boxes?
    – Is Post Expirator enabled on all these posts?
    – Do you see the same problem on other post types?

At first, I filled in all data, then I tried just changing the day and neither worked. Yes, it’s enabled on the posts. I have not tried other post types. I did not try disabling any other plugins or look at the console for errors yet either. I’m on mobile now so can’t troubleshoot more at the moment.

Thanks for your help and for continuing to develop this plugin!

    Thanks @jodzeee

I’m curious to know if this problem happens both on normal “Posts” and on your custom post types.

It seems to be working fine now. Maybe it was the cache after all. Sorry for the false alarm!

Hi Steve. Bulk editing is not working for me again. I had my posts all set up and ready to go. I installed Simple Page Ordering and reordered my posts. Then I noticed all my expiration dates disappeared after I did that.

Next, I disabled that plugin and used quick edit to individually enable Post Expirator again. (Is there no way to use bulk edit to enable it on all?) The current date and time now showed up. Then I tried to bulk edit (filling in all the fields – I’m removing a category upon expiration) to change the date I want them to expire. The dates all disappeared again!

I noticed if I use quick edit, the box is not ticked for Post Expirator, but if I open the post, it is.
