    Hi,
I just tried to delete 6 redirects at once. To do so, I ticked the 6 I wanted to delete and then selected delete from the bulk actions dropdown and hit apply. For some reason, every single redirect was then deleted, not just the 6.

There is no option to restore either.

Do you know of a way to restore these deleted redirects and do you have any idea as to why it happened in the first place?

    Thank you.

Did you press the dropdown that says bulk action all?

You can restore from any backup file that you’ve got.

Hi John, thanks for your reply but I am pretty sure that I didn’t do that.

Either way, restoring deleted redirects might be an option you can add in the future.

As you know, if someone mistakenly deletes a page, product or post, they can go to the ‘Trash’ and restore it, without having to restore the entire site from a backup.

In our case, there are always orders waiting to be processed, so it is not desirable to restore the site to a time before the orders were placed and it is impractical for us to backup orders, then restore the site and then restore orders, because new orders could be coming in at the same time.

Anyway, we will manually replace the 50 redirects or so and be more careful in the future.

We did the same thing – with only three redirects checked for deletion and clicking the button deleted the entire database. With only three selected, the assumption was that “all” meant all of those checked, rather than the entire DB.

Is there a way to restore the DB without a back-up? Can redirection logs somehow be used to rebuild the db?
