Bulk create WP users from CiviCRM

    In another comment thread you said:

    I’ve done this but can’t see where the UI is in CiviCRM (and the plugin has no settings page in WP).

    There is the ‘Synchronize Users to Contacts’ page, but the text there implies it is creating contacts based on users, whereas I’m looking to do the opposite.

    Any advice on how to bulk create WP users from Civi contacts and members? Thanks in advance.

    Christian (plugin author) responded via email, and this worked:

    Select some contacts and use the “Actions” dropdown to “Create WordPress Users from Contacts”.

    Thanks for this plugin. But i have a few questions

    1. Is a username and password created for the contacts when they are created in wordpress using this plugin?
    2. If they are created. are they mailed to the contacts email?
    3. Is installing Buddypress a must because i am using just wp with Civi and dont have buddy rpress installed.
