    @jubilo, describe exactly what your problem is. Do you have any errors in the admin panel on the plugin settings page?

    (@jubilo)

    Yes I have this error:

    Error de configuración del servidor
    No funcionan las redirecciones en tu servidor. Comprueba la correcta configuración para ti en las FAQ del plugin. Si tu configuración es correcta, significa que tu servidor no es compatible con redirecciones desde el archivo ?.htaccess? o que las peticiones a las imágenes son procesadas por tu servidor pasando por alto a Apache. En este caso, por favor, contacta con el administrador de tu servidor.

    and the button to Bulk Convert greyed out.

    Should you see another error in the admin panel? Let me know what the error is.:

    Your server uses the cache for redirects. The rules from .htaccess file or from Nginx configuration are not executed every time when the image is loaded, but the last redirect from cache is performed. For browsers supporting WebP, the redirection should be to an image in WebP format, and for browsers not supporting WebP there should be no redirection. Disable server cache for redirects. Please contact your server administrator.

    @jubilo, thank you for checking.

    Now we know what the problem is.
    Please read the error message carefully and do what it says.

    I only want to convert the images to webp, only this function.

    (@mateuszgbiorczyk)

    Your server uses the cache for redirects. The rules from .htaccess file or from Nginx configuration are not executed every time when the image is loaded, but the last redirect from cache is performed. With each request to image, your server should execute the rules from .htaccess file or from Nginx configuration. Now it only does this the first time and then uses cache. This means that if your server redirected image to WebP format the first time, it does so on every request. It should check the rules from .htaccess file or from Nginx configuration each time during request to image and redirect only when the conditions are met.

    Disable server cache for redirects. Please contact your server administrator.

    Until you fix this problem, the plugin won’t work.

    Sorry, but iam gonna uninstall it,im install Plus WebP and now its converting the images without problem.

    I would prefer to use your solution because it shows that you have a lot of effort and have a great job. But at the moment we need solutions, and this last one is fulfilling the last function that I need which is to convert the images uploaded. Thank you very much for your help.

    I understand you. Unfortunately, in this situation, no plugin that works in the same way, i.e. with redirects, will not work.

    When you use Chrome, a redirect do WebP format will occur, but when someone uses a browser that does not support WebP, they will also be redirected, so they will have corrupt images.
