Bulk Change all button links to no-follow

    Hi there,

    Is it possible to change all the button links to no-follow in bulk? I have 500+ buttons on multiple sites and I was wondering if there was an easy way to bulk switch the links to nofollow without individually editing each button which will take hours.

    Hi Kevin,

    No sorry there is no way to bulk edit buttons. However having so much buttons I suspect there is an easier way to add those to sites. If you need the same button but with different URL or text – you can also specify those in the shortcode ( see the examples in the editor, where the shortcode is being displayed ).

    Hi Kevin,

    I’m happy to report bulk editing is possible now, but strickly on your own risk!

    To change nofollow links :

    – Backup your database
    – Verify if the button table ( wp_maxbuttonsv3 ) is included!
    – Go to settings, to the bottom and click the link ‘I need to bulk edit something ‘
    – You’ll see the bulk edit option
    – Select field ‘nofollow’, search : 0 , replace : 1

    It might take a while with a lot of buttons, it might even fail if it times out so please be careful with this.
