Bulk Add users as attendees of an Event from Admin?

    I’d like to be able to bulk add users to an event from the admin area of wordpress.

    The site is for a sports running club and the events are all set up with locations. After each event occurs, I want to be able to manually add all of the runners who attended. Getting users to self add before the event or after the event just will not happen.

    Eventually, I’d like to be able to count the number of events a user has been to.

    Is any of this possible and if so, how would it be done please?
