“Bulk Actions” -> “Edit” does nothing

Just wanted to know if it’s just me: in my admin panel for WP 2.7, a dropdown box appears above the list of posts and pages that says “Bulk Actions”…it can be selected, and “Edit” can be chosen, and when the “Apply” button is clicked, the page just refreshes and nothing happens, regardless if you check off the boxes next to specific posts, or none at all.

Secondly, for the love of god, tell me there’s a way to move multiple posts from one category to another – it appears as this cannot be done, as I have been trying everything and even searching Google to figure out how to do this, and there doesn’t seem to be a way to do this incredibly simple thing….
