Built-in Photo Gallery

I am having issues with the built in photo gallery option. When making a post via app and trying to get a photo gallery that is an option when posting, you are able to create a gallery, choose photos to be in it, select type of gallery (Slideshow, grid, etc.) and no matter what you pick the gallery just shows up in grid style. I am also having issues uploading photos and they being upside down and such when they are correct orientation on my phone. any help or guidance would be appreciated thanks,
