    Hi,

I have site hardening active but I keep getting the ‘to-do’ message: The built-in file editors are accessible to others.

When I click repair the option is already checked but I do see that I can indeed access the theme file editor inside WP.

    How can I fix this?

Do you maybe have ‘DISALLOW_FILE_EDIT’ set to false in your wp-config.php? That could explain this. If so, can you try to remove that line?

If this constant is already defined, the plugin can’t override it.

Thank you @rogierlankhorst That was indeed the case. It was added by a security plugin I was using and recently deleted. I have used the settings to reset and remove all settings that this plugin has made but apparently and oddly enough this setting has remained and also set to False.

I have removed this and now it’s working!

    Thanks again!
