Hello, I got total of around 5k woocommerce products.

When I clicked build the index for 1st time, the posts index normally, but after several hundreds processes, the process number remains the same for a while with 0 post index.

    Here’s the screenshot

Thus, the time remaining keep increasing. May I know is it normal or got any solution to make it fast?

Do you have any custom code in place that relates to indexing? Anything on the relevanssi_post_ok filter hook? Looks like there are lots of posts in the database Relevanssi is not allowed to index.

Hmmm not sure about the custom code since I’m using a theme called WooPress.

Not sure about relevanssi_post_ok question. What should I check?

Anyway, I just tick post, page, product and for taxonomy – category, brand, product_cat & pa_model. And also I add custom fields _subtitle that I created manually in functions.php

Would any of these might cause the problem?
If I refresh the page, would there any record for build index or I need to click build the index and start from 0 again?

The custom code would be in theme functions.php, but you should know if you’ve created some custom code.

You can refresh the page and click “Index unindexed posts” to continue where the search got stuck. Does that help?

    I see.

Anyway, I do it at the live site this time. Tick all the same except for page and category checkbox. All index smoothly below 5 mins.

So, not sure it’s because of that or just because of the localhost environment. Anyway, thank you for replying!
