Build it Editor is missing – want to edit footer

    Hi WP-Community,

    I hope someone can help. I’m searching for the build in editor which should show up under appearance but there is no editor at all. I deactived all plug ins yet it doesn’t show up! I did a set up myself so I’m the administrator and I use the sydney theme even tho I made tons of changes and all is fine now beside the footer. I cannot edit the footer which I want to remove and add with my information. I researched online but couldn’t find a solution tried different plugins but have no clue how they work I tried e.g.iThoughts Advanced Code Editor but I cannot open it in order to change the things I want.

    Please notice I’m a newbie I did set up a page in wordpress for the very first time – it turned out well so far… :)beside this one tricky thing… Any suggestions with instruction please ??

    I made a screenshot may that explains better ?? So I cannot find the editor in order to change the footer. Thank you!

    I found the reason! My provider deactivated the editor so I had to enable the editor manually in wp-config.php from true to false ?? So fixed & resolved! But thanks for resoponding!
