Bugs: Phone Number Not Captured Front End | Auto-Detect Blocked by Browsers

    Hi @kaisarahmmed,

    Unfortunately, Version 1.4 of your plugin did not fix the issues reported here. In fact, it made things worse.

    After reinstalling your plugin, Version 1.4, we now have the following bugs:

    (1) Phone Number Not Captured Front End:

    Our gravity form(s) cannot capture the phone number on the front end. Every time we click the submit button, the phone field is automatically emptied and keep getting the message “This field is required.” (even after we confirm the phone is valid – in green)

    Note: The phone number entered is only captured at the front end when we hit the “Enter” key (keyboard), not when we click the “Submit” button of our form.

    Browser: Opera for Windows
    Plugin Settings: Enable Smart Phone Field (ON), Automatically Select Countries (OFF), Phone Format (International), Rules (Required)

    (2) Flag Blocked by Brower and/or Add-Ons:

    When we turn on “Automatically Select Countries” the flag is greyed out (i.e., blocked) by the Opera browser (Privacy Protection feature) — or — by the following browser add-ons: AdGuard AdBlocker and uBlock Origin.

    (3) Plugin Embeds Upsell Link and Panel to Gravity Forms Settings:

    Your revision is now embedding a link to your plugin’s Pro version. I believe this violates WordPress guidelines. Plus, the link and panel is embedded inside Gravity Forms’ backend form settings. Not good.

    Kindly review and fix this at your earliest convenience. We are now forced to downgrade your plugin to V1.3.

    (1) Phone Number Not Captured Front End:
    The multistep form is not supported with the wp org version. Only a single page/step form is supported recently. Multistep form supported with the pro version only.

    (2) Flag Blocked by Brower and/or Add-Ons:
    If you block the location feature of the browser, The plugin can’t be detected data for adding flags on fields. So, you have to unblock that.

    (3) Plugin Embeds Upsell Link and Panel to Gravity Forms Settings:
    If someone buys the pro version, that pro features text will be removed. And pro version settings and functions are different. But I will remove that pro feature text in the next update.

    Thanks for the update. Much appreciated. In response:

    (1) Please define multi-step form. In the backend, our Gravity Form is a single stream form. We simply use HTML code to add separators between selected form questions. Version 1.3 of your plugin works well with our Gravity Form(s).

    (2) OK, no problem. Now you know ?? The country flag (when “Automatically Select Country” is selected) is not going to display when a browser ad-blocker is used. Will happen in most cases.

    (3) Thank you. Looking forward to your deletion of the Pro upsell panel that you embedded inside Gravity Forms settings section. Your Pro description and your link “Go For Pro” should suffice.
