(BUGS) Auto Insert BEFORE HTML tags

    Hey WPQUADS Team,

    I requested for this feature a few weeks ago and I’m glad that you accelerated it’s development. However, it has a few bugs that I wish to report about.

    1) The ADS don’t show when the HTML Tag has a href or page jump. Examples on the page include h1, h2, h3, h4, tags etc.

    2) ADS won’t show if you are using a page scroll to ID plugin.

    3) ADS also show on the last paragraph on an article even when there’s no HTML tag. This also affects Auto Insert AFTER HTML tags.

    4) It changes all text before the first HTML Tag on the page to the formatting of that tag. For example, if the first HTML Tag is h2 on a page, and you have set the plugin to show ADS before H2 tags, any paragraphs/text before the first H2 tag on the page is converted to H2 as well. Very weird.

    Can you please let me know, On which ads did you test these things? Please let us know once So that we will test it the same on our end exactly.

    We have re-created the mentioned issues and the AD is perfectly showing without any issue. Can you please check if the issue happening due to any conflict or something? Please check once at your end and let me know back once So that we will assist you accordingly to resolve it.

    @wpquadssupport ~ Thanks for your reply.

    This issue happened on my production website. And I was able to recreate it on a blank website without any plugins and default WordPress theme. This shows that there’s no conflict with any other thing but a bug in WPQuads.

    If I switch to Auto Insert After HTML Tags, Issues 1, 2, and 3 don’t show up. Only issue 4 as mentioned. So, definitely, it’s a WPQuads issue with this very specific function of Auto Insert Before HTML Tags.

    I can recreate it on an empty WordPress website and share the results so you can have a look.

    On our end, the 2nd and 4th issues are recreated and when tested again. For those, We have raised the GitHub tickets in our repository. We will work on those tickets and get back to you with an update once we are done with them.

    our developer team will work on it and resolve it in upcoming updates.
