• Hello!

The latest update to 1.21 gives lots of bugs.

The Dashboard widget doesn’t work anymore for Page Views by Date, i get this message:
Data column(s) for axis #0 cannot be of type string×

In the Analytics section i get all the time this Warning:
Warning: Declaration of DigitalPointBetterAnalytics_Helper_Reporting_Advanced::_execHandler($cacheKey) should be compatible with DigitalPointBetterAnalytics_Helper_Reporting_Abstract::_execHandler($cacheKey, $method = ‘GET’) in /homepages/17/(…)/htdocs/(…)/wp-content/plugins/better-analytics-pro/library/DigitalPointBetterAnalytics/Helper/Reporting/Advanced.php on line 3

Also the plugin is still unable to correctly detect the Pro version, it’s working but still say Pro Version not installed.

    Please correct

    Thanks

Have you updated the Pro version to 1.2? There was some major internal changes due to moving to Google’s new V4 Reporting API. From the sounds of it, you may have an old Pro version installed.

Normally it wouldn’t be a big deal to mix old version of Pro, but the changes were internally pretty significant so required some incompatible changes.

    Thanks,

I had the old Pro version installed! With the 1.2 i don’t get anymore the warning message but the Dashboard widget still give the same error for Page View by Date ” Data column(s) for axis #0 cannot be of type string× ”

Other dashboard gives no date message…

Do you still get the message if you change the time frame? There is an internal 60 minute cache on those Google API calls, so I wonder if maybe you are getting stale data from the old version from the cache possibly?

Beyond that, I’m not entirely sure what would be going on. Not getting it on this end (I checked 3 different WordPress installs that I have access to). If you would like, I could take a look at your admin area if you wanted to make me a temporary account so I could check the underlying AJAX request and data being spit back.
