    This plugin is useless for those looking to only restrict dashboard access, but keep the users editing capabilities.
    With this plugin installed, the “Edit link” – otherwise present on pages and posts in the frontend – VANISHES for ALL users other than admin!
    Which is senseless …

    If that was not the intention, than this is obviously a bug …

    Hi @candy2012,

    I guess I’m not understanding how you expect the plugin to work. The express purpose of the plugin is to remove all access to the WordPress admin other than the profile editor (if enabled). This would include removing access to the editing screens for post types.

    If you still want your post authors to have access to the WordPress admin AND editing screens, I suggest limiting access using the Advanced setting and choosing a capability like “edit_posts”.
