• The display of faq’s are in reverse order. I checked the settings and there’s no order control. Also, expand all button only opens the last faq instead of all the faqs. Seems like more work was put into advertising the pro version which didn’t seem very interesting considering the quality of the free version.

  • Hi Jacob,

Sorry you’re having trouble using the plugin. If you go to the “Ordering” area of the “Settings” tab in the plugin admin, all of the options there are for ordering, and they are all available in the free version, except the manual order table. So, in the free version, you can choose what you want to order by and whether it’s ascending or descending.

And, if the “expand all” button is only expanding one FAQ, that sounds like you have the “FAQ Accordion” option enabled (“Basic” area of the “Settings” tab). The accordion option makes it so that only one FAQ is open at a time. If you set that option to “No”, then you’ll be able to have multiple FAQs open at the same time, which would allow the “expand all” button to open all FAQs.

We’ve created a tutorial video about the ordering options in our plugin, which you can view here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3gVBuCo7bHU

Also, we created a getting started guide that helps you get up and running with the plugin, which you can view here: https://www.etoilewebdesign.com/wp-content/uploads/getting-started-guides/FAQ_Getting_Started_Guide.pdf

Same problem, seems like there’s multiple issues with the options of the plugin

Like, the [ultimate-faqs] shortocde seems to include and excerpt or contents of the individual faq’s when you say to not show them (no accordion, no toggle, etc), these contents also looks like to be a cache’d version that I don’t know from where it comes, including old / broken content

This is also very bad for SEO since it includes duplicated contents if you want to have your FAQs in individual pages

No way to consider to upgrade to the Premium version since the plugin not works correctly, nobody wants to pay for something broken or bad quality
