Bugged checkboxes in checkout page

Hi @catonebros! The Terms and Conditions checkbox is a feature of WooCommerce.com as explained here – https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/configuring-woocommerce-settings/#section-24.

However, the newsletter signup was likely added with a theme or plugin. The first thing I suggest is checking that you have the same theme and plugins installed on www.remarpro.com as you did on WordPress.com.

What is your site address? Also, could you share your system report from WooCommerce > Status > Get System Report and click on Copy for support?

Hi @catonebros, to confirm, is the issue that the checkboxes are not showing or that they are not checked by default? If the issue is with the checkboxes not showing, I’d try updating the theme to see if that helps. Otherwise, you can test if the issue is with the theme by temporarily changing to another theme like Storefront. Let us know how it goes.

the issue is that the checkboxes are not showing. In the old site I used same plugins and theme and it was all ok.

If I’d update the theme, is there any risk to break the site? And if I’d temporarily change to another theme?

Hi again @catonebros. Health Check is a tool that can be useful for debugging. You can use it to test an official default theme like Twenty Nineteen. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to change the theme for you while you’re logged in to that session without affecting normal visitors to your site.

As far as the effects of updating the theme, it would be best to check what’s new in the update with the theme developers. Another option is to set up a staging site to test the theme update before completing it on your live site.

With a staging site, you can clone your site to a staging environment and perform tests without modifying your live site or impacting customers. Many hosts provide staging facilities, so it’s worth checking in with them. It’s also possible to do it using a free plugin like WP Staging.

Hi,
I have news.
I updated the theme but nothing has changed. Then I activated troubleshooting mode with Health Check and I found that when I disable Login No Captcha reCAPTCHA checkboxes go back to normal.
