Bug with SSL (https redirect)

I have site using iThemes security to force SSL when using the dashboard. When I try to edit an announcement, I get a 404 error because it is attempting to open a non-SSL page. If I add “https://“ to the beginning of the URL on the 404 error, it opens the editor and I can edit the announcement.
Where in the codebase could I fix this?
