    You Revisor has somehow come to have the “edit_published_posts” or “edit_published_pages” capability. You need to remove those.

    WordPress actually implements the edit_others_posts capability as “can publish revisions to published posts directly.” With Revisionary, your users can instead use an implicit “can submit revisions to published posts for moderation” capability which is granted based on their edit_posts and edit_others_posts capabilities.

    Does this clarification eliminate your request for a filter on the “save as pending revision” checkbox?
