    Hi,

We have noticed if you update your slug via quick edit the SEO score of the page does not get updated (even after refresh of page listings) until you go into the page and save it.

e.g. an issue said to include the focus keyword in the slug, we did this via quick edit and it remained 72. When we went into the page the score was showing as 78 but it wasn’t until we saved the page the listings of pages showed the updated score.

    Thanks

    Hello @ninetyninew,

Thank you for contacting the support and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

The SEO scores can’t be updated on the fly since few tests rely on JavaScript and that can only execute when the single posts are opened.

With that being said, there are existing feature requests, so I’ve added your vote to our internal suggestions lists. If your suggestions are something that we’re able to introduce, I’ll be sure to let you know.

Also, please stay advised that these tests are just guidelines, and one does not need to follow them religiously.

At the end of the day, the content needs to be written for the readers and not for the search engines.

Scoring higher points in Rank Math’s tests won’t guarantee higher rankings.

    Hope that helps.
