Bug with link button and featured image

    Hi, ok so I have a bug with the newest version of the Events Manager plugin (5.5.3.1)

    When on editing page for the event if the user wants to make a link in the editor and clicks on the link icon nothing happens, if the user wants to add Fetaured image, instead of the lightbox the user is redirected to new page. So there is probably jQuery plugin conflict somewhere.

    This is the console output:

    When Events edit page loads:

    Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘replace’ of undefined – in loadscripts.php

    Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘hasClass’ of undefined – in loadscripts.php

    When the user clicks on add link button:

    Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘show’ of undefined – in loadscripts.php

    Steps I’ve taken:

    So to rule out any conflicts I disabled all the plugins and turned on WP deafult theme. The problem persisted. Also I forgot to mention that Featured images and link button in the editor work just fine in Pages and Posts and other content types, they just don’t work when adding or editing the event.

    Temporary solution that I have found is to revert to the version 5.5.2 of the plugin and now everything works as expected. But it would be nice to fix this bug.

  • Hi,

    That does sound like a jQuery issue. Have you tried testing with all other plugin deactivated and while running the default WordPress theme? It could be your theme or another plugin is causing a conflict.
