Bug with Learndash when User Automatically Downgraded to Free Plan

We use PMPro and Learndash with a free trial period when users sign up (which comes with enrollment in Learndash courses). After the trial, their plan is automatically downgraded to the FREE membership plan (which has no enrollment to any Learndash course).

We recently realize that if the user is not validated, then when the trial ends, the Learndash courses continue to be “enrolled” for the user — meaning that all these free users are getting access to our materials for free. This is a big problem.
