    not sure if it’s a conflict with the fix I gave you for titles.

    Have you still got that active?

    I’ve just taken a look

    The issue is with bbpress and multiple level categories, in which it doesn’t recognise or work out the latest post where you have.

    category -> category -> forum -> topic

    so tried to display either the wrong or no information.

    I’d suggest you post the issue in the bbpress support forum – I’m very tied up with other work at the moment, so I don’t have time to work out a solution for that.

    Don’t forget though, that the fix did work just as long as their was a reply attached to the topic.

    the ‘fix’ is just adding the title – the issue is that a forum under two categories either does not return or returns the wrong topic freshness, which happens with bbpress alone.

    my code works on bbpress returning then correct topic id, so I can display the correct title
