I’m running ACF Pro, with ACF Extended and Polylang Pro. All in the newest versions. The acf-field-group are not chosen to be translated. The following problem occurs:
    1. I create a new field in a field group (doesn’t matter if I chose “All languages” or a specific language.

    2. In the chosen language the field shows up as expected. But not in any of the other languages.

    3. When I add a field with the same name in another language, the original field shows up and the second field with the same name/slug. This behavior is being mirrored when I look at a post with the field group attached to it. Makes it very hard to create new fields at the moment.

    4. When I turn of ACF Extended, the problem does not occur. Field groups are synced over the languages as expected.

    Hello,

    Thanks for the feedback!

I ran a test following your instruction, and I didn’t manage to reproduce the issue on a clean WP 6.2 install with ACF Pro 6.1.3, ACF Extended 0.8.9.3 & PolyLang Pro 3.3.2. Everything works fine on my end. Here is the video of my test.

If the steps followed in the video aren’t correct, can you please give further instruction in order to reproduce the issue? (a screen record would be perfect).

If the steps followed in the video are correct, then it means you might have some custom code in your theme or a third party plugin compatibility issue.

In order to isolate the issue, I would recommend clone your website on a development / staging environment using Duplicator, or using your hosting backup solution. Then try to disable all your plugins one-by-one, at the exception of ACF Pro, ACF Extended & PolyLang Pro, until you find which one cause the issue.

If the problem persists, I would suggest switch to the native WP Twenty Twenty Two theme, to make sure you don’t have any custom code in your theme which would break the feature.

In all cases you should be able to confirm it works like I did, by setting up a blank WP install and test the feature on it.

Let me know if you found something!

    Regards.
