Bug with BuddyPress for Learndash Plugin

  • I will be posting this in the BuddyPress for Learndash support as well.

    I am experiencing issues when using this plugin with the BuddyPress for Learndash plugin by Buddyboss when updating an existing course in Learn Dash. I am using all of the latest versions.

    When updating an existing course with both of these plugins active, it seems that a LOT of resources are being used and it creates a Gateway Timeout for me. I also found that approximately 40 group forums are added and 64 of the group members are changed to group admins.

    Something is going on with these two plugins when updating a course in Learn Dash and I would appreciate it if you could take a look.

    These are the active plugins when the error occurs:
    BadgeOS 1.4.7
    BadgeOS Community Add-On 1.2.2
    bbPress 2.5.8
    BuddyPress 2.4.3
    Buddypress for LearnDash 1.0.5 (by Buddyboss)
    LearnDash LMS 2.1.6

    Just as a check, have you tested to see if it happens without the BadgeOS stuff active? Trying to help eliminate a possible source.

    Hi Michael,

    It does not happen until I activate BadgeOS Community.

    So, with everything else active except the Community add-on, I do not have the issue.

    I honestly have no idea what may be causing that, and I’ve just got done looking through the entire plugin’s source code. We don’t have any functionality related to creating groups or reassigning roles for users.
