*NOTE: This theme recommends to install PageBuilder by SiteOrigin, so this bug is using a “Sydney Theme Widget” inside of the “SiteOrigin PageBuilder” and I think has merit to be considered for fixing.

BUG: When using “Sydney Services Type B” inside of the SiteOrigin “Layout Builder” widget, it pulls in the “Sydney Services Type A” code/styling.

    • I did have a Sydney Services Type A widget in the row above…not sure what exactly is causing the issue.

    STEPS TO REPLICATE:

    1. Set up theme and import the sydney-settings.xml
    2. Create at least 3 services
    3. Set “Customize” Settings to “Static Front Page”
    4. Use PageBuilder to add row…insert Sydney Services Type A widget
    5. Insert 2nd Row and set with one 100% column. Insert the “SiteOrigin Editor” widget. In same row…click [+Add Widget] and insert the “SiteOrigin Layout Builder” widget.
    6. Click inside the “Layout Builder” widget. Add row with two 50% columns. In first column add Sydney Services Type B. 2nd Column…just use SiteOrigin Image and put image in there.
    7. Click “Update” to save changes
    8. Go to Front page…my Sydney Services Type B widget was displaying like Type A

    WORK-AROUND:

    1. Instead, in 2nd row change to be 1 column 100%. Add SiteOrigin Editor widget. Put your title in here.
    2. Create 3rd Row, set it to have two 50% columns. Left Column, add Sydney Services Type B widget. Right column: SiteOrigin Image

Thanks for looking into this! All the best!

Ugh…Seemed to resolve it somehow, but not sure how. And I thought I tested in mult. browsers before I made this post. (Took a while to document).

I did add the “SiteOrigin Features” widget into the mix.

    …Closing Thread…
