    I created the following tiers for shipping of hardback books:

    1 book – $8
    2-3 books – $12
    4-6 books – $15

    This works great. And if someone adds only an e-book to their cart, there is no shipping because this is a virtual downloadable product.

    The bug occurs when there is both a hardback and an e-book in the cart. It still bumps the shipping to $12 because there are two items in the cart, even though one is virtual.

    I’ve confirmed that this is a bug per WC documentation: <https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/managing-products/&gt;.

    The fix has been written. Will need to set up for testing this new code.

    Has this bug been addressed/fixed? I’ll be adding e-books to my store and will need this to work properly.

    Testing of the fix has gone well. Deployment delayed due to a request to investigate another issue with the plugin. Have been stymied by that second request since it seems to be limited to a single user’s environment. If my schedule permits, will get your requested fix out this weekend. If I’m delayed, I can send you the new version out-of-band if you are open to that and willing to review the code before using it.

    Thanks. I’d be willing to test it if I had any experience parsing plugin code, which I do not. This is a client’s active e-commerce site, so I don’t want to run the risk of causing problems with the site. We’re still a week or so away from adding e-books to the catalog.
