bug when add product using frontend form

    hi
    I will describe how to find the bug :-
    1- wcfm marketplace is installed
    2- I installed Change WooCommerce Author plugin
    2- I used any form plugin to let normal user role as example:- (subscriber) can add product from frontend
    3- user1 add new product from front end
    4- admin find the new product with pending status
    5- admin open product page (till this moment author name is user 1)
    6- admin adjust any data ex (price) and did published for the product
    then the bug happened
    7- the author of the product automatically changed to be “admin” in stead of staying “user1”

    so please help how to fix this issue
    and to fix it in the next update

    – From where Admin editing that product? Using WCFM Product manager?

    he edit the product from product page in admin area
    and also if he use wcfm the same happened

    Are you using any other post manager plugin?

    We have tested this but WCFM does not have any such issue.

    This may only possible if there has any other plugin which resetting post author on save.

    may be you can not recognized the problem
    I recorded video and this is the link to video describes what I explain below

    I did the next :_
    1- I reset wordpress database to be as new
    2- I used next plugins only
    woocommerce – wcfm – wcfm MP – wcfm membership
    I used NS Frontend Add Product to add product from front end
    (note that I test more than one frontend post plugin and the same problem happened ) the issue is solved when disable wcfm Marketplace

    I used WooCommerce Advanced Bulk Edit to see post author
    (note that when I used this plugin to change the product data then the product author never change) it is only change when I change its data and save it whether from product edit page in wp admin or from wcfm

    HI,

    I used NS Frontend Add Product to add product from front end

    – Please contact this plugin support for the purpose.

    WCFM does not has any compatibility/dependency with this plugin.

    WCFM has own frontend product manager.

    the issue not only with this plugin NS frontend it is also with any other frontend post from plugin

    and I must use front end plugin at the same time with wcfm marketplace
    as I told wcfm marketplace cause this issue

    so please some help here

    HI,

    WCFM is also a frontend post plugin. Are you getting this issue if you add/update product from WCFM Product manager?

    Well, as WCFM itself a fronend plugin hence we have no plan to add compatibility with any other such plugin.
