Bug? Trimmed beginning and end characters

This is indeed not possible in regular fields since such characters are removed in formatting.
You might be able to use this in the code field.

I tried now the code field. Now the last character is preserved but first space is removed ??

Please disable trim in the field settings!

You mean this what i wrote i already did od somewhere else?

no checkbox by trim extra white space, no html allowed.

Hmm if trim is disabled then this should just work.

Maybe I have the same issue. In the WYSIWYG (Visual Editor) Options I have activated the checkbox “Trim extra whitespace before/after contents”. Nevertheless the tags <p> (before the content) and </p> (after the content) will be inserted when I save the post.

Can you please check this issue on your side?

Please open a new topic since this is an old one.
In any case, this behavior os probably not because of Pods but because of your theme or other plugin.

My original post was posted also ARKTIK-a a bug report at github but still no solution.
Maybe you know if it can be solved soon?
