• HI,
I used qTranslate-X for the website to create 2 language option.

    While I m getting on Nederlands language and want to go from the menu panel to business or any other tab, than I m redirected to English. While I m scrolling the webpage down than I see that everything is translated properly;

On the other hand on the English version everything works great. Please help me with this issue.

    Cheers,
    Anna

Beside that I have one sugestion, that it would be great to have only flag option or abbreviation of the country (without the full name next to it)

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi Anna,
If I view your website in Nederlands and go to Projecten->Business then everything is still in Nederlands. So I don’t see the issue that you post.

As for your suggestion: it is possible to show only the flag, see: https://qtranslatexteam.wordpress.com/faq/ and scroll down to “Can I change the look of Language Switcher Menu”

    Hi Wilfried,

I just checked the web and I also asked 2 friends to check it from their side and we all have the same problem.

Tho show you how it works I recorded a printscr movie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_-Ruc6dJjA&feature=youtu.be

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Thanks,
    Anna

    Hi Anna,

I did view the movie and see the problem. I did exactly the same in my browser and the result here is always Nederlands. It does not switch to English here. I have no idea why I don’t have this issue.

The strange thing is that your menu change. I see in movie that you go to Projecten->Business, and then the menu changes from NL to EN. Also the admin menu changes from Nederlands to English. Also your URL changes to /en/.

Could this be cache in your browser? Can you try to clear browser cache? Can someone else try this also? I use FireFox (however I don’t think this has something to do with the browser).

    Hi Wilfred,
I did clean the cache and my fiends too, however the problem is still there. We all use safari, but I also checked it in chrome and the problem is still there. Any other ideas?

I seriously have no clue why it happens.

    Thank you.
    Cheers,
    Anna

    Hi Anna,

I have no clue why this happens – and why I don’t have this problem on your site. I hope someone else drops in here and do the test – and maybe come out with a solution. I use this plugin only on 1 site and have no problems with it.

    Regards, Wilfried
