• Hi,

When I look at the testing message in Gmail, ‘From’ is sender name/email, ‘Reply to’ is sender name/email. But the ‘To’ is sender email. Isn’t it supposed to be the recipient email?

The recipient email address is able to receive the message. But it looks very strange from user’s perspective that the ‘To’ shows sender email address.

This of course can be seen in other mail program like Yahoo too.

Is there a way to change ‘To’ to the ‘recipient’s email address’ or at least don’t let this shows up?

Subscribe2 can be configured to send emails to your subscribers using the BCC (Blind Carbon Copy) header in email messages. Each email is sent TO: the FROM: address with subscriber recipients included in a BCC header.

If you don’t like this, set the number of recipients per email to 1.

If I set number of recipients to 1, does that mean only one person will receive that post? …

P.s. I just tried to set number of recipients to 1 and it seems to work: I see the post show in my 2 testing email addresses. But what is the reason behind it? From the wording, it looks like only 1 registered member will receive the post.

It’s ‘recipients per email‘. That means when set to 1, each email generated goes to 1 recipient. If set to 30 then 1 email is sent to 30 recipients using the BCC header to respect email privacy.
