[bug] tags (BR,P) added when using shortcodes

After adding “page” support to the plugin:

<BR></BR>seem to be placed around the areas where we have (custom) shortcodes being used.
In addition, the AMP plugin looks to be adding empty<P></P>tags as well.Has anyone else seen this bug?
