    Hello,

I want to report a bug I notice on my own website.

    I have:
    WordPress 4.9.8
    Ultimate Member 2.0.29

I use a member list showing all members and “Roles” as the search field. When using an Administrator account, this works fine. But any other user trying to search based on the user role gets back the whole member directory no matter what (I have tried a lot of settings already, including giving all permissions to my custom UM User Role).

    So I think this is a bug…

    Hi @geoffrey84,

What field have you selected in “Choose field(s) to enable in search” in directory settings? We don’t see this issue on our test site.
Do you have any caching plugins or server side caching, I suggest excluding Ultimate member pages from the cache.
Please also do a quick conflict test and see if this issue goes away.
Here is the doc on how to do a conflict test if you are not sure how to do it.

    Regards.
