    How to reproduce bug:

    1. Create a new participant that has a “Rich Text” field
    2. Copy any text to clipboard (HTML, bare string, etc.)
    3. Try to paste text into the field which fails

Pasting the clip board content into the “Text” view instead of the “Visual” view does indeed work. I mentioned this bug already here, but tested it again on another browser and other computer to be sure. Also, pasting clip board contents into the Visual editor of a new post does work, just not for participant database.

    OS: Win7 Pro x64
    Browser: Chromium 54.0.2840.87 (64-bit) + Firefox 49.0.2

Tried this again and can’t reproduce the issue. I’ve tried pasting from several different sources, both with the “past text” mode on or not. Works fine, haven’t been able to see the problem you describe, but I cannot test on a Windows machine…it’s possible that is a factor.

When you say “doesn’t work” does that mean the pasted content doesn’t appear in the editor, or is it just not saved? Do you have the rich text field set up as “read only”?

The text does not appear at all. With “text mode on” or not, doesn’t matter. I can try on a Linux machine tonight.

Tried it on Linux at home, same thing. I am happy to take a Video to demonstrate it. I am wondering if it is related to a plugin that is installed in WordPress.
